RobotEra is a Beijing-based embodied intelligence and humanoid robotics company founded in August 2023 and incubated from Tsinghua University's Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences. The company is backed by Tsinghua University and was founded by Jianyu Chen, a Tsinghua assistant professor and robotics/AI researcher. RobotEra develops a full-stack AI-native humanoid system covering embodied brain, motion control, data, dexterous hands, and humanoid robot bodies. Its products include the full-size bipedal humanoid RobotEra L7, the wheeled humanoid/mobile manipulator RobotEra Q5, XHAND dexterous hands, and related embodied foundation-model tooling. Public reports in 2025-2026 show that RobotEra has moved from R&D and pilots into commercial deployment, with logistics and commercial-service customers, more than RMB 500 million in 2025 orders, deployments with China Post and SF Express in more than 10 logistics centers, and batch deliveries starting in Q2 2026.
